Our model: We raise and enhance flour worms (larvae of Tenebrio Molitor) according to an innovative and circular production model. The workshops are installed directly on the farm in an interconnected network of farmers and ranchers. By developing this innovative sector, we are creating a more responsible and resilient model thanks to a dynamic ecosystem that is more respectful of the environment and living beings.
Produced in Auvergne: The mealworms are the basis of our products. They come exclusively from regional farms where they are raised and fed on cereal co-products that have little value in our territory. We collect them and use them in the production of our animal feed products: birds, dogs, cats and pond fish.
Why Invers? Because we believe it is possible to reverse the dynamics of destruction of ecosystems, by replacing the unsustainable protein meal used in animal feed with meal worms whose production spares sensitive natural environments. Our on-farm production solution also helps reverse the decline of our countryside and the negative spiral of the agricultural crisis, by recreating added value in the heart of the territory and generating a sustainable additional income for our farmers.
