Little do we realize that our household products are made from polluting resources: petrochemical residues, palm oil or coconut oil… Alternatives are possible!
In France, 80,000 tonnes of used vegetable oil emerge from our restaurants every year. Since 2012, these oils have had to be recycled to prevent them from polluting the environment, or disrupting our wastewater treatment plants! But to do so, they have to travel thousands of kilometers to be recycled into 2nd generation biodiesel in huge factories.
At La Savonnerie Circulaire, our aim is to recycle these unloved oils locally. Based on the principle that any oil can be transformed into soap, we decided to make super-ecological, completely biodegradable cleaning products.
Cleaning has never been so eco-friendly! You can even water your plants with dishwater!
